The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA) has issued a weather alert for light rains and very cold temperatures expected in several parts of the country from Saturday, June 20 to Wednesday, June 23.
- Nairobi and Kiambu counties are among those bracing for some of the coldest weather, with night temperatures forecast to drop between 4°C and 6°C.
- The KMSA anticipates rain in the Coast, Central, Western, Rift Valley, and Northern regions, with more substantial rainfall expected on Tuesday and Wednesday in Central Kenya.
- While most of the country will be dry, residents in affected areas are advised to prepare for the changing weather conditions.
