The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has dropped murder charges against 15 police officers in connection with the killing of two Indian nationals and their Kenyan driver. The charges were withdrawn before the High Court in Kiambu.

• 15 officers, some from the disbanded Special Service Unit (SSU), were discharged.
• The prosecution entered a nolle prosequi, citing constitutional and procedural grounds.
• The withdrawal does not preclude future prosecution if new evidence emerges.
