Equity Group shareholders have approved a record Sh21.7 billion dividend payout for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, marking a significant increase from the previous year.

A first and final dividend of Sh5.75 per share was approved, a 35.5% increase from Sh4.25 per share in 2024.
The dividend will be paid on or about June 30, 2026, to shareholders registered by May 22, 2026.
Shareholders also ratified plans to expand into insurance markets in Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) by incorporating three new insurance subsidiaries, subject to regulatory approvals.
