Kenya Power has announced planned electricity interruptions across several counties on Friday, June 26, 2026, due to routine maintenance activities.

• The power outages will affect parts of Meru, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kisumu, Kisii, Mombasa, and Kilifi counties.
• Kenya Power, the national electricity distributor, is undertaking these maintenance efforts.
• The interruptions are scheduled to occur between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the various affected regions, with an apology issued for any inconvenience.
