At least 17 estates in Nairobi, including Langa'ata, Kibra, and Kawangware, will experience water supply disruptions due to an emergency shutdown by the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC). The interruption is caused by a major leak on the NCT Fresh Water Pipeline in Kiambu County.
- Affected areas include Westlands, Lavington, Kilimani, Upper Hill, Ngong Road, Madaraka, Lang'ata, Karen, Uthiru, Kawangware, Kangemi, Kibra, Ruai, Ngundu, and Kamulu.
- The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) is conducting emergency repair works.
- Residents are advised to store enough water, as supply will either be low pressure or completely interrupted until repairs are completed.
