The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has issued a stern warning to politicians against using divisive rhetoric, hate speech, and ethnic profiling as the country approaches the next General Election.

• The NCIC will intensify surveillance on political rallies, media, and digital platforms to identify and hold accountable those undermining national cohesion.
• NCIC Chairperson Bishop Dr Kepha Omae expressed concern over a rising trend of inflammatory political discourse threatening Kenya's unity.
• Offences related to hate speech, discrimination, and ethnic intolerance remain criminal under the National Cohesion and Integration Act and other laws.
