The Milimani High Court has ordered the Ministry of Lands to release crucial land registry information for Marsabit County to Gitson Energy Limited within seven days.

• Gitson Energy Limited, developing a wind farm project, requested the information, but faced a lack of response from the Chief Land Registrar.
• The court, presided over by Justice Patricia Nyaundi Mande, ruled that the Access to Information Act and the Community Land Act mandate the release of such data.
• The case arose after the Commission on Administrative Justice also failed to secure the information for the company, leading to the High Court intervention.
