Airtel Kenya has appointed Djibril Tobe as its new Managing Director, succeeding Ashish Malhotra who moves to a new role as Chief Executive Officer for Africa at Indus Towers.

• Djibril Tobe brings over two decades of experience in telecommunications, FMCG, and consulting across various African markets.
• Key organizations involved are Airtel Kenya and Indus Towers.
• Ashish Malhotra, during his four-year tenure at Airtel Kenya, oversaw the rolling out of more than 2,000 network sites and grew Airtel Money market share from 2% to 11%.
