Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has warned National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) against alcohol and drug abuse, stating that rehabilitation will be offered, but those who do not reform will face demotion.

• The government will no longer tolerate alcohol and drug abuse among administrators.
• PS Omollo stated this at the Kenya School of Government in Nairobi during an induction program for 530 Deputy County Commissioners (DCCs).
• Administrators who fail to reform after seeking rehabilitation will be reassigned to lighter duties.
