Police are searching for the driver and conductor of a matatu involved in a hit-and-run incident that seriously injured a traffic police officer in Ruiru on Friday.

• The officer sustained a fractured left hip joint after being dragged several metres.
• The incident occurred at Kihunguro Roundabout along the Thika-Nairobi service lane.
• The matatu allegedly stopped to pick up passengers at an undesignated point.
