The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum has launched a subsidized liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder distribution program in Nyandarua County as part of the nation's clean cooking initiative.
- 20,000 LPG cylinders have been allocated for residents of Ol Kalau Constituency.
- The program was launched by Principal Secretary for Petroleum Kello Harsama on Monday, July 6.
- Nyandarua County is the sixth county to benefit from this initiative, with the wider program, known as the Mwananchi Gas Project, aiming to reach low-income households across all 47 counties.
