Over 500 deaths have been reported in the DRC's worst Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak in years.
The trial involves the WHO, DRC’s Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale (INRB), and international research partners.
The study evaluates antiviral therapies MBP134 and remdesivir, and their combination, to improve survival rates for a strain of Ebola with no currently licensed therapeutics.
