The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is reassuring students who have not yet received their university placement notifications, explaining that messages for unsuccessful applicants are still being sent. Additionally, KUCCPS will open a one-month window for course changes and late applications.

KUCCPS placed 293,869 students into universities and colleges for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The Chief Executive Officer, Agnes Wahome, stated that the agency first focused on successfully placed students.
A new portal will allow students to change courses immediately after placement and also accommodate approximately 51,000 students who qualified but missed the initial application deadline.
