Kenya has officially launched the Kenya–EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) Implementation Strategy, a 10-year roadmap designed to maximize the benefits of the agreement for Kenyan businesses and exporters.

The strategy aims to leverage the duty-free, quota-free access to the 27-member European Union market for Kenyan products.
Key figures involved include Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry Lee Kinyanjui and Ambassador of the European Union to Kenya Henriette Geiger.
The Kenya–EU EPA, which entered into force on 1 July 2024, facilitates access to a market valued at approximately USD 21.2 trillion, where the EU accounts for about 21 percent of Kenya’s annual exports.
