Four men have been charged at the Makadara Law Courts for allegedly attempting to vandalize and steal a Kenya Power transformer valued at nearly KSh1.2 million in Nairobi's Industrial Area.

• The transformer was valued at approximately KSh1.2 million.
• The accused, Erick Wanjohi Ruheni, Julius Matheka Mwisa, Erick Mokaya Sagwe, and Lukas Nyangau Minyonga, pleaded not guilty.
• The incident allegedly occurred on June 29, 2026, under the Energy Act, 2019.
