Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to investigate alleged voter bribery in the upcoming Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election, citing claims of cash and goods being exchanged for national identity cards.

• Residents allegedly receive Sh5,000, a gas cylinder, and food before surrendering their identity cards.
• The IEBC is called upon to probe these alleged tactics.
• The claims surface amidst the distribution of 20,000 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders and other government projects in Nyandarua County.
