The Kenyan government is urging women to form groups and utilize the Women Enterprise Fund to foster economic growth and create employment. Cabinet Secretary Hanna Cheptumo highlighted the need for increased uptake of these empowerment programs.

• During the 2025/2026 Financial Year, Baringo County received Ksh.14.15 million through the Women Enterprise Fund, benefiting 41 women groups with 468 members.
