Dr. Robert Aruho, Head of the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy (MKWC), has been appointed Co-Chair of the IUCN SSC Antelope Specialist Group (ASG), a global role in wildlife conservation.

• He will lead efforts to conserve over 90 antelope species and their habitats worldwide.
• The appointment highlights Kenya's growing influence in global conservation and recognizes the scientific leadership emerging from the country.
• Under his leadership, the Mountain Bongo recovery program at MKWC has become the world's largest conservation breeding population, now exceeding 100 individuals.
