Safaricom has quietly launched Akiba Bundles, a new product that integrates data purchases with automatic savings deposits into customers' ZiiDi accounts.

• Customers receive a predetermined cashback amount directly into their M-PESA ZiiDi Savings and Investment account with every Akiba Bundle purchase.
• The service, which went live on April 24, 2026, is offered by Safaricom.
• Bundles range in price from KES 25 to KES 1,200, offering data along with corresponding ZiiDi credit amounts like KES 2 to KES 100.
