A lobby group, the WANTAM Advisory Committee, has launched an online voting platform to allow Kenyans to select their preferred opposition flag bearer for the 2027 General Election.

• The initial online voting period will run from July 25 to July 26.
• Notable political figures on the platform include Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
• The initiative aims to promote public participation and unity behind a single opposition candidate, with the top five vote-getters proceeding to a public debate.
