Kenya is set to launch a unified national emergency medical response system, the SHA 112 Lifeline, by the end of July, following an inspection of the new National Ambulance Dispatch Centre.

The system is more than 90 percent complete and will coordinate ambulance services nationwide under the Taifa Care Model.
Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale announced the upcoming launch.
The platform currently integrates 97 accredited ambulances, with 186 registered ahead of the rollout.
