Kenya and Grenada are set to strengthen their diplomatic and economic ties with the official appointment of Kamal Shaileshbhai Shah as the Honorary Consul of Grenada to Kenya.

• The appointment follows a meeting between President William Ruto and Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell of Grenada in September 2025 during the Africa–CARICOM Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
• Musalia Mudavadi, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, emphasized the appointment reflects confidence in Kenyan leadership and expertise.
• The partnership aims to boost cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, tourism, education, climate resilience, and the blue economy.
