An uncle has allegedly lured two young nephews from their school in Garissa, Kenya, and taken them to their father, a suspected Al-Shabaab fighter in Somalia.

• The two brothers, aged 15 and 13, were picked up from Bula Mzuri Primary School on July 5, 2026.
• Investigators believe the father, who joined Al-Shabaab in 2018, instructed his brother to collect the children.
• Mobile phone tracking placed the uncle's signal in Dhobley, Somalia, confirming the border crossing.
