Safaricom has enabled borrowers of the Hustler Fund to use their Bonga Points for loan repayments, unlocking an estimated KES 3.6 billion worth of loyalty rewards.

• An estimated KES 3.6 billion in Safaricom Bonga Points can now be used to repay Hustler Fund loans.
• Borrowers can dial *254# and select the repayment option via the Hustler Fund menu.
• The move comes as the Hustler Fund grapples with a 15% default rate, equivalent to KES 12.5 billion as of March.
