Kenyan police have seized cannabis valued at Sh13.4 million and arrested four suspects during coordinated anti-drug operations across three counties: Nandi, Kiambu, and Kisii.

• The significant seizure, including 271.3 kilogrammes of cannabis in Nandi, is part of an intensified government campaign against narcotics trafficking.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) led the operations, which also recovered cash suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
• These raids align with reforms announced by President William Ruto to strengthen the fight against drug trafficking, including expanding the DCI's Anti-Narcotics Unit and targeting collusive officials.
