President William Ruto has ordered that all Community Health Promoters (CHPs) receive new screening kits and smartphones within 90 days as part of a government digitisation effort.

• Over 107,000 CHPs will be equipped with new tools and enrolled under the Social Health Authority (SHA).
• Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has been directed to oversee the replacement of outdated diagnostic kits.
• A total of Sh390 million has been allocated for the SHA enrollment program for CHPs, with counties contributing half.
