Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has ordered a complete reshuffle of police officers at Keringet Police Station in Nakuru County due to concerns over drug and alcohol abuse.

• All police officers at the station are being transferred, with those implicated in alcohol abuse facing rehabilitation and disciplinary action.
• A special police unit and 20 new officers will be deployed to Keringet, along with an additional police vehicle within two weeks.
• The operation aims to combat drug trafficking and abuse, with the Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja confirming the Rift Valley Region Police Commander Samuel Ndanyi will lead the intensified efforts.
