Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has stated he will not honour any summons from the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) unless former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is also summoned for alleged inflammatory remarks against the Somali and Muslim communities.

• Duale accused the NCIC of applying double standards and insisted on equal enforcement of hate speech laws.
• He specifically cited Gachagua's alleged questioning of Somali appointments to senior government positions and derogatory comments about Somali business leaders.
• Duale also rallied support for President William Ruto, promising strong mobilisation of votes from North Eastern and pastoralist counties, citing Ruto's efforts in addressing historical injustices.
