Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is in Addis Ababa to campaign for Kenya's candidates for top positions in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) during the 49th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Executive Council.
- Kenya is vying for the positions of Judge Phoebe Okowa (ICJ) and Justice Njoki Ndung'u (ICC) for the 2027–2036 term.
- The meeting will prepare the AU for the 8th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting in Egypt on October 4, 2026.
- Mudavadi will also hold bilateral meetings to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties and discuss the AU's institutional reform agenda.
