• All vehicle transfer service notifications will now be sent directly via SMS to applicants' registered mobile phones.
• The NTSA, aiming to digitise its services, introduced this measure following concerns that motorists were left unaware of application progress or rejections for months.
• Motorists are urged to ensure their registered mobile numbers are active to receive updates on whether their transfers are accepted, rejected, or pending, reducing the need to repeatedly check the online portal or visit NTSA offices.
