Police in Homa Bay County have arrested 14 suspects following separate incidents where youths allegedly attempted to disrupt the Linda Mwananchi movement's tour on Sunday. The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has strongly condemned the acts of political violence and intolerance witnessed during the rally and is set to summon political actors. Siaya Governor James Orengo has strongly condemned a series of 'cowardly and targeted' attacks against journalists covering the political tour in Homa Bay, involving violence, theft of equipment, and intimidation.
