The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has strongly condemned the acts of political violence and intolerance witnessed during the Linda Mwananchi rally in Homa Bay on Sunday, August 16.

• Key figures involved include NCIC Chairman Bishop Kefa Nyamweya, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna (leader of the Linda Mwananchi team), and allegations against Governor Gladys Wanga and MP Peter Kaluma.
• The violence involved barricaded roads, destroyed vehicles, and set tyres ablaze, with opposition leaders accusing local officials of instigating the attacks.
