The National Treasury has mandated all 47 county governments to fully integrate the Electronic Government Procurement System (e-GP) with the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS).

• The deadline for this integration is the end of September 2026.
• This directive was issued by Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi.
• The integration aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement processes, a critical area for preventing the loss of public funds.
