• The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) is collaborating with the National Police Service and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to identify and seize illegally refilled cylinders.
• The government plans to introduce a serialization system to track LPG cylinders throughout the supply chain.
• Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi stated that the crackdown will continue until full compliance is achieved, despite potential resistance from businesses.
