Kimilili Member of Parliament (MP) Didmus Barasa has officially graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Administration from Murang’a University of Technology.

• Barasa's doctoral research focused on county governments’ branding strategies and their impact on service delivery satisfaction among small and medium enterprises, using Bungoma County as a case study.
• The graduation follows earlier calls by the Consumers Federation of Kenya (COFEK) for verification of his academic qualifications.
• The second-term lawmaker is also seeking the Bungoma gubernatorial seat in the 2027 General Election.
