Kenya joins 30 global participants in India for AI-powered multimedia content training

As artificial intelligence and immersive virtual spaces rapidly reshape global education and content creation, 30 educators, media professionals, and administrators representing 19 countries, came together at National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR)..

Kenya was among 19 countries represented by 30 educators and media professionals who participated in an intensive AI-powered multimedia content creation training in Chennai, India.

The two-week program, held from 12th to 25th August 2026, focused on 'Emerging Trends in Multimedia Content Creation with AI and Immersive Technologies'.
Key figures included Prof. Dr. Usha Natesan, director of National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), and Dr. Subha Rhangarajan, Associate Professor and course coordinator.
Participants gained practical skills in AI, Generative AI, AR, VR, and digital learning platforms, alongside cultural immersion and visits to academic and industrial sites.
