Huawei is set to launch HarmonyOS 7 and its new inward-folding tri-fold smartphone, the HUAWEI Mate XT 2, at a China-only event on September 7.

• HarmonyOS 7 features an agent-centric design with enhanced AI capabilities and a spatial redesign, boasting 15% better performance than its predecessor.
• The main highlight is the HUAWEI Mate XT 2, a U-shaped inward-folding phone with a cover screen, rumored to be powered by a Kirin 9050 Pro chipset and a battery over 6000mAh.
• HarmonyOS is now the third largest mobile platform globally, holding 5% of the market share and 24% within China.
