• 1,298 confirmed Mpox cases and 19 deaths have been recorded across 40 counties.
• Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, highlighted the urgency for vigilance.
• Mombasa and Nairobi are among the identified high-risk counties, with Mombasa reporting the highest number of cases (452).
