President William Ruto has announced a significant Ksh23 billion road investment for Kisumu County, aiming to boost connectivity and economic opportunities during his Nyanza development tour.

• The investment covers the construction of eight roads totaling 270 kilometres.
• Key projects include the Chemelil-Muhoroni/Junction road (part of a Ksh15.7 billion upgrade) and the Rabuor-Chiga road (Ksh962 million).
• Additionally, the President commissioned the Ksh8.4 billion Lake Victoria Water and Sanitation Project and highlighted a Ksh44 billion investment in affordable housing for Kisumu.
