Five quintuplets who were transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for specialized neonatal care have tragically passed away. The newborns were born prematurely at Thika Level Five Hospital on September 13.

• All five quintuplets died despite dedicated medical efforts.
• The newborns were born at an extremely premature gestational age of 25 weeks.
• KNH, the acting Chief Executive Officer Dr. Joel Lessan, expressed deep condolences to the mother, Mercy Kanini, and her family.
