Ida Odinga has unveiled a national steering committee, led by Professor Adams Oloo, to coordinate the commemoration of her late husband, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's first anniversary.

• The commemoration activities will run from October 10-17, focusing on Raila Odinga's life and legacy.
• The committee comprises representatives from government, civil society, academia, the private sector, and the Odinga family.
• Institutional initiatives, including the Raila Odinga Regional Leadership Academy and the Raila Odinga Centre for Democracy, will also be launched during this period.
