A Kenyan company has been ordered to pay a former employee Ksh500,000 for unlawfully using his photograph for marketing purposes after his employment ended.

• The former employee's image was used on the company's website and social media to promote services, including VIP protection.
• The employer cited the continued display as an oversight, but the ODPC found no legal basis for the post-employment usage.
