A Kenyan woman, reportedly wanted since last year, has been apprehended at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) while allegedly attempting to smuggle cocaine valued at Ksh13.53 million.

• The seized cocaine weighed approximately 3,383 grams.
• The arrest was made by Kenya Airports Criminal Investigations (KACI) following a stop order from the National Anti-Narcotics Investigations Bureau (NANIB).
• The suspect was found with the drugs as she prepared to board a flight to Bangladesh.
