A former Royal Marine, Dave “Dinger” Bell, is nearing the coast of Kilifi, Kenya, after rowing solo for over 300 days across two oceans.

• He has covered approximately 28,164 kilometres (17,500 miles) on his unsupported expedition.
• The former Royal Marine is aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the longest non-stop solo ocean row.
• Bell faced extreme challenges, including a severe knockdown in the Coral Sea and unpredictable conditions in the Torres Strait.
