The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) is intensifying training for public transport operators nationwide to combat road crashes. The program focuses on enhancing professionalism, compliance, and safety standards within the sector.

• The training targets PSV drivers, fleet managers, and Sacco directors, with the second cohort currently underway in Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, and Trans Nzoia counties until October 1.
• Key individuals include NTSA Director General Nashon Kondiwa, who emphasized the Authority's commitment to "bringing back sanity on the roads" and saving lives.
• The program covers critical areas such as defensive driving, passenger care, vehicle safety, and compliance with traffic laws, aiming to address behavioral, vehicular, and operational factors contributing to accidents.
