Paralympian Moipo: Life gave me lemons, and I made lemonade out of it
Kenyan Paralympian Julietta Moipo, 22, is set to make history as one of the first two Kenyan women to compete in para taekwondo at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Overcoming a childhood accident that led to the amputation of her right arm, Moipo found her calling in para taekwondo after finishing secondary school, remarkably qualifying for the Paralympics without a single competitive kick in her category at the African Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament in Dakar, Senegal, in February 2024.
