Suspect Detained for 14 Days in Murder Investigation of State House GSU Officer - October 2025

A suspect has been arrested and presented in court in connection with the fatal stabbing of a GSU officer outside State House, Nairobi. The suspect, Kithuka Kimunyi Musyimi, was arraigned in court and has been detained for 14 days as police continue their investigation. The murdered General Service Unit (GSU) officer was identified as State House guard Ramadhan Hamisi. Hamisi, who was killed in an arrow attack, was laid to rest at the Kajiado Muslim cemetery.
