22 Suspects Arrested and 19 Cases of Cheating Reported During KCSE Examinations - November 2025

An exam crisis has emerged in Kenya following the arrest of 22 suspects in connection with alleged cheating during the KCSE examinations. Minister of Education Julius Ogamba announced that 19 cases of exam malpractice were officially reported as of November 6, 2025. The reported incidents occurred in the regions of Nyanza, the Rift Valley, and Eastern Kenya. These 19 cases of KCSE exam irregularities are currently being challenged in court.
