The minister of education, Migos Ogamba says 418 cases of exam malpractice have been reported across the country so far, noting that the number has decreased from the 614 cases reported in the 2024 examination.

The KCSE 2025 examinations have concluded, and Education Cabinet Secretary Migos Ogamba has announced plans for merit-based student placement. Waziri Ogamba has also provided direction regarding the selection process for Form 10 students. He assured that the transition of Junior Secondary (JS) students to high school will be seamless. The minister also announced that 418 cases of exam cheating were reported countrywide during the current examination period. CS Ogamba noted this represented a significant decrease in reported exam malpractice cases.
