IEBC Distributes Materials and Finalizes Preparations for By-Elections in 24 Areas - November 2025
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is finalizing preparations for by-elections scheduled for tomorrow in 24 areas across Kenya. According to IEBC Chairman Erastus Ethekon, voters will elect six Members of Parliament, one Senator, and 17 Ward Representatives. The commission has been distributing election materials to polling stations in constituencies including Malava, Mbeere North, Magarini, and Ugunja. The IEBC has assured robust, free, and fair electoral processes in Kajiado, Kasipul, and Magarini. The commission also warned it will take strict action against anyone found violating electoral laws. Mohammed Adow noted that tomorrow's by-elections represent a significant test for the IEBC.
